LIFE | Pink + Bling = LOVE!

It's pink...it's shiny....and it has rhinestones...say what?!

My inner girly-girl turned down even a sweet and simple cherry blossom phone cover for something with a little more..."bang!" or is it bling? Either way, isn't it pretty? It's so light reflective it could possibly blind someone! Well, that could be a bit of an exaggeration, but it's still so....shiny...the beau says that it reminds him of bubblegum, I guess it's the pink and blue color combination. :)

In other news not pertaining to blingy phone covers...here are a couple of my favorite photos of the week... a perfect day at the beach with friends. :)

 And, of course, seaweed crowns/tiaras are the must-have for summer 2011. ;)

Little Somethings Photo Challenge | {Little}

I Heart Faces - {Fix-It-Friday #102}

I've really been enjoying the weekly Fix-It-Friday challenges over at I Heart Faces! I guess it's because I'm a bit of a "PS/CS5" geek and I love playing around trying to create a particular look that goes with the emotion within the image.  This week's challenge provides an image of this adorable little girl (look at those beautiful blue eyes!).  Enjoy!  Be sure to check out other FIF submissions here! :)

I Heart Faces | Photo Challenge {From a Distance}

Here's my very first entry for I Heart Faces Photo Challenge! :) I instantly thought of this photo when I saw the title of the challenge was "From a Distance".  It reminded me of this photo from a photo session with a sweet friend of mine. She reminds me of a princess walking through a lush field to meet her prince...so romantic! Enjoy! :)

I Heart Faces - {Fix-It-Friday #101}

I was a bit late in getting to the weekly "Fix-It-Friday" challenge at I Heart Faces, but I fell head over heels in love with the photo that they had up for everyone to play with! :)  It wasn't that much of a challenge to edit, but the possibilities were simply endless!! Although, finding "the look" to go with the photo was a great learning experience.   I desired the photo to be vibrant, but also a dreamy, vintage, and fairytale-like as well, which was hard because those looks seemed to go against one another! After a few minutes (or what seemed like minutes, but most likely had been hours...) the look finally came into place.  Enjoy! :)
